In this edition of Bite-Size, I wanted to talk about medication safety and their impact on patients. Medications are as present as the disease itself, and awareness and education are essential. As medical students, we have the opportunity (with the luxury of time) to talk to our patients without being on a strict schedule.

The effect of diluting the formulations and the standard formulation containing Dovate® with aqueous cream and homogenizing in a pharmacy setting showed that it was a major factor of slowing down or restricting the release CBP.
A t-test for spreadability was carried out for each formulation and compared to the standard. A dependent t-test, due to being in the same sample, will be used.
The collecting of the results expanded over a 28-day period where 4 dissolutions curves were made. On Day 60 the last dissolution curve was made to expand on the degradation studies.
